Body Art History
Body Art was originally created as a therapeutic tool for rehabilitation by Robert Steinbacher (a Swiss gymnast and dancer). Steinbacher soon realized it was effective for people without physical limitations.
Body Art Class
• The class begins with light yoga and some Tai Chi moves in time to calming music, and builds up into more challenging sequences in tempo with the music.
• In this class you will experience elements of control/release technique, modern dance, strength conditioning, physical therapy exercises, and yin yang philosophy.
• Body Art is a full integration of body and mind.
